Toronto Contra Open Band

Four times a season, musicians who want to play for contra dances are invited to join Jon Cannon and a guest musician on the Toronto Contra Dance stage in the Toronto Contra Dance Open Band.

If you can play the tunes, you're welcome to join, whether you've never played for a contra dance before or you've been playing for the past 50 years! (If you're a rhythm instrumentalist or percussionist, you're welcome too!).

The four sets that the house band will definitely play are posted to the Toronto Open Band setlist, with notes from Band Coordinator Jon Cannon.
